VALIA PERPINIA

Ms. Valia Perpinia is a Senior HR Professional, a certified Personal and Professional Development Coach and a Mentor and Trainer of young people. She is also a certified Workplace Mediator.

Her professional path and career advancement have been linked with the growth of Alpha Bank Group from 1,000 to 10,000 personnel and its dynamic presence in Greece and Southeastern Europe. Her work in one of the leading financial institutions of the country, exposed her to a magnitude of tasks and challenging responsibilities that offered her a deep understanding of people management issues. Her areas of expertise include analysis, design and implementation of HR strategy, practices and policy making, corporate communication, management of organizational changes, employee relations, HR Information Systems. She was member of the Bank’s cross functional team that coordinated major strategic alliances, M&A’s in Greece and abroad.

From early on, she undertook leadership, mediating and training roles and participated in complex and demanding projects of strategic importance and scale. She was Alpha Bank’s representative in the Social Committee of Hellenic Bank Association. She received awards for her dedicated and extensive voluntary work.

Ms. Perpinia left Alpha Bank Group in 2015, after a long and successful career as Deputy HR Manager and has since trained extensively in Workplace Mediation and Coaching. She currently works in Strategic HR Projects and as a Coach and Facilitator, her aim being to empower companies and individuals to set and excel their targets following a holistic, ever evolving approach.

Ms. Perpinia has a Masters degree in Human Resources Management from Warwick Business School in Great Britain and has attended a great number of executive development programs.

She is member of the Greek HR Professionals Association and the Hellenic Management Association.
